Family Room

Hello, this is where you can find out a little bit about my background and my family.

I grew up and still live in Prior Lake, Minnesota. I am married and have four children. For a living I do software development for Actual Software.

My wonderful wife is Lisa. Lisa enjoys being able to spend most of her time raising our children. What little time is left over she uses to browse the net, take walks, email friends, or chat with her friend Karla.

Joshua is 8 and likes computer games, building blocks, and anything combat related. Currently his favorite games are strategy games like Sacrifice, Desciples, and Heroes of Might and Magic III. Joshua is also into Pokemon (the card game, the video games, and the TV show). When the computer and TV are unavailable Joshua creates vehicles and structures out of building blocks, lincoln logs, legos, and rubber bands. The usual course is for them to blow each other up shortly after being created.

Sarah is 6 and is our little bundle of energy. She is outgoing and loves to participate in group activities, going out to play with neighborhood friends every chance she gets. She also likes animals, especially cats, horses, and dogs. Sarah also likes to look at books and to play pretend.

Samuel is 3 1/2 and is getting into everything. He loves to help and is perfectly happy to help himself! His favorite activites are playing with cars/trucks/planes and playing video games (although he finds most video games very frusterating right now). He also likes to follow his big sister when she goes out to play.

Amelia just 1 year old and is currently working on learning to walk. She is able to stand unassited and has taken the occasional single step. Amelia enjoys eating and finding things and frequently follow you around to give you back something you put down.
